ROUGH SET SCHOOL AND TUTORIALS
We cordially invite you to submit the tutorial proposals by email. Any topics related to the theory and applications of artificial intelligence, data mining and uncertainty modeling are relevant. They do not need to be related to rough sets. Tutorials can be attractive for the IJCRS attendees who would like to broaden their interests beyond rough sets. We will also organize a stream of lectures related to the theory and applications of rough set methods. This stream will be called Rough Set School. It will be designed to provide graduate students and industry practitioners with basic understanding of what the rough sets are and how rough set methods can be utilized. Both Rough Set School lectures and general tutorials will be held on June 8, 2027.
PAPER SUBMISSION
The submission link is: https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=ijcrs2027
We accept two types of submissions:
• Extended abstracts: will be published in the online pdf book of abstracts.
• Full-length papers (12-15 pages): will be published in the LNCS/LNAI Springer proceedings.
Both types will be treated equally when designing the conference program of oral presentations.
Further details on extended abstracts:
Extended abstracts should be 1-4 pages in length. Submissions may describe work in progress or research that has been published elsewhere within the past year. Extended abstracts will not be included in the conference proceedings; instead, they will be published in a digital Book of Abstracts on the conference website. To be included in the Book of Abstracts, submissions must be registered and presented at the conference. Extended abstracts should follow the same formatting requirements as full papers and must use either the LaTeX or Word templates provided by Springer, available on the Springer Authors’ Page. LaTeX users may also access the templates through Overleaf. When submitting through EasyChair, authors should select the “Extended Abstracts” submission type. During the submission process, authors will be asked to choose the track in which they wish to present their work.
Further details on full-length papers:
Full-length papers should be 12-15 pages in length and will be published in the LNCS/LNAI Springer proceedings. Papers slightly exceeding 15 pages may also be considered. Submissions must be original and must not be under review or simultaneously submitted to another conference or journal. Each paper will undergo a rigorous peer-review process involving at least three independent and anonymous reviewers. All accepted papers must be presented at the conference and will be published in the conference proceedings, available in both print and digital formats. Full-length papers must be submitted through EasyChair using the link provided above. During submission, authors must select the track most appropriate for their paper. All submissions must comply with Springer’s Instructions for Proceedings Authors and use either the LaTeX or Word templates available on the Springer Authors’ Page. LaTeX templates are also available through Overleaf. Authors are expected to adhere to Springer’s Code of Conduct when preparing and submitting their work. Authors interested in publishing their papers as open access are encouraged to consult Springer directly for information on fees and available options.
Previous IJCRS proceedings are available through Springer at https://link.springer.com/conference/ijcrs.
