100th Anniversary of Zdzisław Pawlak Birth

This year marks a monumental milestone for our society and the global scientific community. We invite you to join us in honoring the legacy of Professor Zdzisław Pawlak (10 Nov 1926 – 7 Apr 2006) on the 100th anniversary of his birth.

As the founder of Rough Sets, a pioneer of computer science in Poland, and a visionary whose work deeply shaped Artificial Intelligence, Conflict Analysis, Decision Making, and countless other disciplines, Professor Pawlak has inspired generations of researchers worldwide.

Event Details & Highlights

The official Centenary Symposium will take place on November 10, 2026. As an international society, this event represents a unique opportunity to connect our global community across borders.

The program includes:

Rough Set School: Educational lectures diving deep into the fundamentals and modern applications of Rough Set principles.
Global Commemorative Sessions: Interactive live sessions connecting researchers across different parts of the world.
