November 11 -14, 2022, Suzhou, China

http://www.ijcrs2022.cn

The 2022 International Joint Conference on Rough Sets (IJCRS 2022) will take place in Suzhou, China from November 11 to November 14, 2022. IJCRS 2022 aims at providing a forum for exchange of ideas on rough sets, granular computing, fuzzy sets, knowledge technology, and their applications. IJCRS 2022’s goals are to strengthen the relationships among researchers and institutions working on rough set related research to increase awareness of these topics and to facilitate the contact between new researchers and consolidated groups. Additionally, we will organize events to celebrate the 40th anniversary of rough set theory at the IJCRS 2022 conference.

PAPER SUBMISSION
Submission of theory and application work on topics listed below are encouraged. All papers must be original and not simultaneously submitted to another journal or conference. Submissions must be prepared in the LCNS/LNAI Springer format and have a maximum of 15 pages. Accepted papers will be published in the conference proceedings by Springer-Verlag in the LNCS/LNAI series, both in print and digital forms. In addition, short submissions (3-5 pages) or abstracts (1-2 pages) can be submitted. If accepted, the talks related to these submissions will be presented at the conference but will not be included in the proceedings. A book of abstracts with all abstracts will be published and distributed at the conference.
Each submitted paper will be reviewed by three independent reviewers. All papers should be submitted through EasyChair, https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=ijcrs2022

IJCRS HISTORY

Conferences in the IJCRS series are held annually and comprise four main tracks relating the topic rough sets to other topical paradigms: rough sets and data analysis covered by the RSCTC conference series from 1998, rough sets and granular computing covered by the RSFDGrC conference series since 1999, rough sets and knowledge technology covered by the RSKT conference series since 2006, and rough sets and intelligent systems covered by the RSEISP conference series since 2007. Owing to the gradual emergence of hybrid paradigms involving rough sets, it was deemed necessary to organize Joint Rough Set Symposiums, first in Toronto, Canada, in 2007, followed by Symposiums in Chengdu, China in 2012, Halifax, Canada, 2013, Granada and Madrid, Spain, 2014, Tianjin, China, 2015, where the acronym IJCRS was proposed, continuing with the IJCRS 2016 conference in Santiago de Chile, IJCRS 2017 in Olsztyn, Poland, IJCRS 2018 in Quy Nhon, Vietnam, IJCRS 2019 in Debrecen, Hungary, IJCRS 2020 in La Habana, Cuba (held online), and IJCRS 2021 in Bratislava, Slovakia (hybrid).
